Creation of orthophoto plans
High-altitude photography is a convenient modern method of studying the earth’s surface. With the development of light aircraft and the appearance of unmanned drones, aerial photography in Ukraine has turned into an affordable service and has become one of the basic tools in the arsenal of cartographers and surveyors. Aerial photography is used in geology, geodesy, mining, construction, agriculture and other industries.
Most often, aerial photography in cartography and geodesy is used for:
- creation of orthophoto plans – obtaining large-scale photographic plans of the area with precise reference to the geodetic base. They are used for topographical, geological, hydrological and ecological investigations,
as well as for the needs of land management, design of architectural and infrastructure objects, quality control of construction and assembly works, etc.;
- creating a sub-base for design – obtaining detailed accurate digital relief models (scales from 1:2000 to 1:10000) for the needs of architects and designers engaged in the design of country cottage towns, urban planning, development planning urban infrastructure, etc.
Data obtained using aerial photography are also used to monitor the state of communications and road coverage, create thematic maps of agricultural lands and forests, control environmental pollution, etc.
Geodetic and land surveying group “Mirnychyj” provides professional services in aerial photography, processing and interpretation of the received images. The cost of each shooting is determined individually. It depends on the area of the object, its configuration and location, detail and scale of pictures and maps, terms of work and other factors.
